Close-up and personal:

Dr. H. David Sacks joined our practice in November 2004, where he comes to us from Coalinga, California.

Dr. Sacks attended Youngstown State University, where he completed his 4 years of Pre-Med, then he went on to Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in 1964 where he received his D.O. in Medicine. After completing an internship in Family Medicine in Pontiac, Michigan, Dr. Sacks started a private practice in Family Medicine in Avon Lake-Cleveland, Ohio. In 1984 Dr. Sacks moved to Palm Desert and started a Family Practice there, later selling that practice to Dr. Grimm.

Dr. Sacks then joined The Department of Corrections in Central California where he was the Chief Physician and Surgeon, until realizing the desert was calling him back.

Dr. Sacks enjoys many activities in his spare time, including horseback riding, showing Saddlebreds, collecting antique silver, as well as reading, swimming and golf.

Dr. Sacks has a special interest in Family Practice, as well as Geriatric Medicine. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Sacks back to the Desert Communities.
